 We had to write thesis statements. On the Martin Luther King Jr. speech we listened to/read yesterday. They were then reviewed and revised-ish. We then worked in groups. Each group was given a topic, my group's topic being "What do you really learn in school?". After being given our topics, the group had to pick rhetorical devices to apply to the topic. My groups devices were litotes, antithesis, and hypophora. My device was hypophora.
