 We read a short story today. Called "The Yellow Wallpaper". Escentially the diary of a woman suffering post partum depression. And the effect of a neglectful husband. He thought he understood her situation and knew better of her condition than she could. Under her circumstances her mental health declined rapidly. Which resulted in her harming herself. After reading the story we spent the end of class watching a short film based on the book. The film was an interesting take on the story.
