Losing It
Have you ever lost your mind? I doubt it, here, reading this post. Any idea what would finally make you lose it? I figure you aren't privy to that information. The mind, body, and spirit are separate appendages to your overall person. Not just you as a human being, but as an entity in your own existence, apparently. When you've truly lost your mind the actions that follow aren't of your spiritual will. They're of the voices, or wills given room to set, in the absence of your mind's occupancy. Of which, at that point your body has no significant sway. And even once the mind is lost the spirit may remain intact. Leaving you a shred or expanse of opportunity for ethereal redemption.
At least that's one way of looking at it.
I learned today that Emily Dickinson wrote a poem, comparing a funeral to losing her mind.
