Reflecting... Apparently.

Resent your kids? Spend time contemplating your life purpose? Believe in the good word of the lord? Well then, you'll just have a dandy ole time in this here literature class. Spending your time taking notes and analyzing poems. Like "Birches", a poem about revisiting childhood to a positive affect, and not taking life for granted. Or something along those lines.

And in the midst of that, maybe you'll glaze over things like "God's Plan".

The ultimate plan on the course of human life, or life in general. Rivaled only by the concept of free will. I could argue the concept of God's 'almighty' plan for at least a couple more sentences, but as with most other concepts of belief, you'll always end up back at square one if you really think about it. If you want it to be true you'll be able to find a plethora of reasons so. And if you want it to be false, 'it shall be so' in your mind. Religious beliefs are easy to argue, and hard to come to a conclusion for if your intent is to find an unbiased, undoubtedly true conclusion. And if you don't care at all, it doesn't matter.

And so... you have a purpose in life... 'apparently'.
